Roy Gomes Jr. - Associate Pastor
Roy Gomes Jr. has been involved at KCC since its inception in 1999. Roy Gomes Jr. joined the Kona Christian Church Pastoral Staff in June of 2004 as Associate Pastor and Youth Pastor upon his graduation from Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Roys vision is to see people get saved, be discipled and grow in their relationship with the Lord.
Roy Gomes Jr. was raised in a Christian home and accepted the Lord at a young age of three. Roy affirmed his commitment to God at age 16. Upon graduation from High School, Roy attended Youth with a Mission’s Discipleship Training School in Colorado in 1997. This was a six month course which included a mission trip to Costa Rica for a month and a half
and a trip to Juarez, Mexico with Mission Adventures.
He was married in July 2005 to his beautiful bride, Cheryl, and they currently reside in Kailua-Kona.
